ArmInfo. The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) is aware of Yerevan's decision to stop funding, but Armenia remains a member of the organization. A source  in the CSTO told TASS.

ArmInfo. The leaders of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, as well as Cuba, Laos and Guinea-Bissau will take part in the Victory Parade, in addition, heads of executive bodies of the CIS, the Union State, and the CSTO are invited. Russian Presidential Assistant Yuri Ushakov told reporters on May 6.

ArmInfo. Moscow still does not question the sovereign right of the Armenian partners to independently determine their foreign policy course, including in the context of further work in the CSTO. This was stated on May 3 during a weekly briefing by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Maria Zakharova, in response to a question about the likelihood of Armenia leaving the CSTO.

During the official visit to the State of Qatar on April 28-29, Minister of Foreign  Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan gave an interview to the leading news channel Al-Jazeera with around half a million audience.  As the press sevice of the RA MFA reports , the interview was published in  Arabic and English versions.

ArmInfo. It is very sad for Moscow that the Armenian authorities continue to publicly criticize the CSTO. This was stated on April 25 during a weekly briefing by official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria  Zakharova, in response to a question from an Azerbaijani journalist, presented in a manipulative manner.

ArmInfo. Despite Armenia's  decision to suspend participation in CSTO events, the organization  fully retains its obligations to Yerevan, CSTO Secretary General  Imangali Tasmagambetov stated in an interview with Izvestia.

ArmInfo.Russia conducted an equal and parallel policy towards Armenia and Azerbaijan. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated in an interview with British media representatives, answering the question of how sincere the Azerbaijanis or Russians are in their desire to move towards normalization, or they are paving the way for the future hostile of aggressive activities.

ArmInfo. Yerevan considers the solution of regional security problems within the framework of the  peace process. Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated in an interview with British media media, commenting on the benefits of continuing membership in the CSTO.

ArmInfo.The decision of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to participate or not to participate in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) summit in 2024 will be the sovereign choice of his country. CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov stated to TASS.

ArmInfo.Russia still considers Armenia its ally. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated in an interview with Sputnik, Moscow Speaks and Komsomolskaya Pravda radio stations in response to a request to tell how things stand in relations with Armenia.

ArmInfo.The US and the EU 'assign Armenia only the role of an instrument for igniting a new big  fire'. Spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stated on April 18 during a weekly briefing.

ArmInfo. Armenia has significantly reduced the scope of its activities as a member of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), CSTO Secretary  General Imangali Tasmagambetov said in an interview with NEWS.ru.

ArmInfo.Thanks to the solidarity of the Armenian society and the efforts of the Armenian  government, it was possible to mitigate the problems faced by forcibly displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh and avoid the establishment of tent cities in Armenia, Armenian Ambassador to Germany Viktor Yengibaryan stated in an interview with Loyal - Das Magazin fur Sicherheitspolitik.

ArmInfo.Any reports on shootings on the border are disturbing.  Toivo Klaar, the European Union (EU) Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia, told the RFE/RL Armenian Service as he commented on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border tensions amid last week's Armenia-US-EU meeting in Brussels.

ArmInfo.Armenia as of today is not in the right geopolitical situation to be inspired by imaginary  help from the West, no matter what amounts we are talking about.

The relatively modest amounts of "support" announced in Brussels should not be misleading.  A similar opinion was expressed by political observer, expert of the Foundation for Strategic Culture (FSC), member of the Club of Friends of the Gorchakov Foundation Andrey Areshev in his article on FSC.

ArmInfo. The Russian Foreign Ministry issued a statement in connection with the high- level meeting in the  Armenia-US-EU format. 

ArmInfo.Our position has not changed - we expect that the CSTO will give a political assessment of  the fact that the sovereign territories of the Republic of Armenia are occupied, in particular in September 2022. Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan stated during a briefing on April 4. He noted that Armenia's demands are known, since this has been stated many times.

ArmInfo. Politics should not be taken seriously as something static, when everyone expects a result,  and in the absence of it there is a feeling of disappointment. A similar point of view was expressed by security expert and political scientist Armine Margaryan, speaking at parliamentary hearings on the European integration of Armenia.

ArmInfo.The purpose of the meeting of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, US Secretary of  State Antony Blinken and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen on April 5 in Brussels is to provide support to Armenia and unite the efforts of the EU and the US on this issue. Ambassador  of France to Armenia, Olivier Decottignies, stated in an interview with the Public Television of Armenia.
